Kelsey Elaine Davidson, M.D.

Kelsey Elaine Davidson, M.D., is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children ­­— Chicago. Dr. Davidson specializes in sports medicine, stable fractures, cerebral palsy, hip dysplasia, and limb length and gait discrepancies.

Dr. Davidson is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. She is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Association's Emerging Leaders Program.

Dr. Davidson has provided poster and podium presentations at national and state conferences. She received the 2020 MacKeith Press Promising Career Award for her virtual presentation to The American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine 2020 annual conference. She has lectured during grand rounds at Veterans Administration facilities and at the Georgia Institute of Technology Prosthetics and Orthotics Program on topics such as osteochondral lesions of the talus, chronic osteomyelitis and pediatric orthopaedics.

Her interest in sports medicine includes a background as a semi-professional figure skater and providing team physician coverage for the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 2016. Dr. Davidson coordinates our return to sports testing for knee injuries in young athletes with our on-site motion analysis center.
