Shriners Children's Ohio is one of the four Shriners hospitals dedicated to the treatment of pediatric burns and specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Our physicians' experience and expertise in burn treatment, cleft lip and palate, complex wound and skin conditions, and plastic and reconstructive surgery makes Shriners Children's Ohio a first choice for care.
Family-centered philosophy
We recognize that there are certain, basic needs shared by all patients and families who visit Shriners Children's Ohio, including information sharing, emotional support and respect. In recognition of this, we foster an environment that keeps parents and families close to the child and actively involved in the development of the child's care and recovery plan, and transition back to home and school, considering the unique physical, emotional and developmental needs of the child.

Our commitment to the community
Shriners Children's Ohio, like the other U.S. based hospitals in the Shriners Children's health care system, reaffirms its commitment to excellence of care through the development of its Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The CHNA is a requirement for tax-exempt hospitals to engage their servicing community every three years and assess their health needs. Based on the findings, we have developed an action plan to work alongside community stakeholders to address the health needs of the community.
