Susan Tapases, RN, BSN

Susan Tapases, RN, BSN, has been with Shriners Hospitals for Children - Springfield for over 16 years and is the clinical liaison for inpatient rehabilitation. Prior to this position, she served as a physician liaison at the hospital for more than six years. As the clinical liaison, Sue communicates with outside referral sources to identify children for admission to inpatient rehabilitation.

Prior to joining Shriners Hospitals for Children, Susan’s clinical nursing experience was focused on orthopaedics and rehabilitation, with a concentration on chronic pain management.

She has also worked in staff development and employee health.

Susan is a graduate of Bay Path College in Longmeadow and American International College in Springfield.
